Take notice that JD Wetherspoon plc has made an application under Section 34 of the Licensing Act 2003 to Vary a Premises Licence, for Wibbas Down Inn, Collingham House, 6-12 Gladstone Road, Wimbledon, SW19 1QT. The application is to Vary the Premises to extend the terminal hour for the Sale of Alcohol on Sunday to Thursday to 01:00 and 02:00 Fridays and Saturdays. To extend the terminal hour for Late Night Refreshment on Sunday to Thursday to 01:00 and 02:00 Fridays and Saturdays. To extend opening hours on Thursday to Sunday to 01:30 and 02:30 Fridays and Saturdays. The application also seeks to vary the wording of Condition 2 in Annex 2 of the Premises Licence to now read as follows:- Two Door staff to be employed on Friday and Saturdays from 21:00 when the premises trades beyond midnight. The Premises Licence Holder will risk assess the need at all other times.

A person who wishes to make representations regarding this application must give notice in writing to: The Licensing Section, London Borough of Merton, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, SM4 5DX. Written representations must be received no later than 21st September 2026. It is an offence, under section 158 of the Licensing Act 2003, to knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application which, upon conviction, carries an unlimited fine.
