Notice Of Application To Vary A Premises Licence

Notice is hereby given that on the 20th August 2026, Cineworld Holdings Ltd, applied to Stevenage Borough Council for a Variation of the Premises Licence in respect of premises Cineworld Multiplex Cinema, 4 Stevenage Leisure Park, Kings Way, Stevenage, SG1 2UA. The proposed variation is: To Extend the Hours for Opening and the Exhibition of Films to 24 hours a day. To Extend the Hours for Late Night Refreshment - 23:00 – 05:00 Daily.

Any representations by a responsible authority or any other person regarding this application must be received in writing by The Licensing Authority, Stevenage Borough Council, Daneshill House, Danestrete, Stevenage, Herts, SG1 1HN, no later than 17th September 2026, stating the grounds for representations. Interested parties (e.g. people living in the vicinity) or Responsible Authorities (e.g. Police and Fire Brigade) can make representations. All representations must be made in writing including email: licensing@stevenage.gov.uk. The register of Stevenage Borough Council the record of the application may be inspected by calling 01438 242724 to arrange an appointment. It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. The fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for the offence is unlimited.
