Notice of Application to Vary a Premises Licence
TO ALL WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

Take notice that JD Wetherspoon plc has made an
application under Section 34 of the Licensing Act 2003 to
vary a premises licence for the Gate House, 1 Priory Walk,
Doncaster, DN1 1TS. The application seeks to vary the
premises licence as follows: 1. Amend the start time for
the provision of licensable activities, excluding Late
Night Refreshment, to 0800 from the current 0900.
2. Remove the conditions in Annex 2 of the premises
licence which relate to the outdated "Overview of
Operations" and "Approach to Responsible Retailing"
documents and replace with updated conditions as per the
application form.There are no other changes to the Premises
Licence. The postal address of the relevant licensing
authority is set out below and a record of the application
may be inspected there during normal office hours. Anyone
who wishes to make representations regarding this
application must give notice in writing to The Licensing
Department, Doncaster Council, The Civic Offices,
Waterdale, Doncaster, DN1 3BU. Written representations
must be received no later than Tuesday, 15th September
2026.
It is an offence for anyone to knowingly or recklessly make
a false statement in connection with an application and the
maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary
conviction for the offence is unlimited.
