What is proposed?

Licensing Act 2003 Notice of application for the variation of a Premises Licence

Premises: Coffee Room, Platforms 5/9 York Railway Station, Station Road, York, YO24 1AB.

Notice is given that Select Service Partner Ltd has applied to York City Council to vary a Premises Licence under the Licensing Act 2003.

The proposed variations are :- 1. To approve alterations to the layout of the premises, details of which are shown on the plan submitted with the application; 2. To remove the embedded restrictions and update the conditions. 3. To vary the hours for the sale of alcohol to start at 08.00 daily. There is no change in the terminal hour; and 4. Change the name of the premises to Cafe Local.

Anyone who wishes to make representations regarding this application can be made in writing by a responsible authority or any other person to City of York Council Licensing Team, Hazel Court, EcoDepot, James Street, York, YO10 3DS, or by email to licensing@york.gov.uk. Representations must be received by 15 September 2026. The register of Licensing Applications can be inspected by appointment City of York Council Licensing Team (Tel: 01904 552422) at Hazel Court, EcoDepot, James Street, York, YO10 3DS between 8.30am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday or at www.york.gov.uk.

It is an offence on summary conviction to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with this application, the maximum fine for which is unlimited.
