Notice of Application to Vary Premises Licence

Notice is hereby given that The Arbuthnot Group Ltd has applied to Southwark Council on 17/08/2026 to Vary the Premises Licence in respect of The Prince of Peckham, 1 Clayton Arms, Clayton Road, London, SE15 5JA.

The variation is to update the layout of the premises only in accordance with the plans submitted. The changes are to include the basement level and to improve the overall standard of the premises and providing plans up to current British standards. The removal of conditions 843 and 850.

There are no increases in hours. A register of all applications made within the Southwark area is maintained by: The Licensing Service, Hub 1, 3rd Floor, 160 Tooley Street, London, SE1 2QH. A record of this application may be inspected by visiting the office during normal office hours by appointment on 020 7525 2000, details are also available on our website at https://app.southwark.gov.uk/. It is open to any interested party to make representations about the likely effect of the application on the promotion of the licensing objectives. Representations must be made in writing to the Licensing Service at the office address given above (or by email via licensing@southwark.gov.uk) and be received by the Licensing Unit within a period of 28 days starting the day after the date shown below.
Note: it is an offence to knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. A person guilty of such offence is liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding level 5 on the standard scale.
