NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO VARY A PREMISES LICENCE
PREMISES The Earl Grey, 118 Grey Street, Newcastle NE1 6JG Notice is given that Easteye Limited applied to Newcastle City Council on 24th August 2026 to vary a Premises Licence under the Licensing Act 2003 as follows: - 1. To permit all licensed activities permitted under the licence to take place from 08:00 to 03:00 hours daily, save for supply of alcohol which will start from 09:00 hours. 2. To amend the opening hours to read 08:00 to 03:30 hours daily. 3. To remove all conditions under Annex 2 and replace with the schedule of conditions submitted with the application.
Anyone who wishes to make representations regarding this application must give notice in writing to:- Licensing Authority, Newcastle City Council, Public Safety and Regulation, Civic Centre, Newcastle upon Tyne NE1 8QH Representations must be received by 22nd September 2026. The Application Record and Register may be viewed during normal office hours at the above address or at https://portal. newcastle.gov.uk It is an offence under Section 158 of the Licensing Act 2003, knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application and the maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for the offence is unlimited.
