What is proposed?

Notice of Application for a Variation to a Premises Licence Under Section 34 of the Licensing Act 2003

Notice is hereby given that Roose Sports & Social Ltd have applied to Westmorland and Furness Council to vary the Premises Licence in respect of premises to be known as: Roose Sports and Social, (Also known as Roose Conservative Working Men's Club) Leece Lane Barrow In Furness Cumbria LA13 0EB.

The proposed Licensable activities are Opening Hours

Sunday - Thursday 09:00 - 01:00 & Fri - Saturday 09:00 - 02:30

Alcohol Sales Inside Sunday - Thursday 10:00 - 01:00 & Fri – Saturday 10:00 - 02:00

Live & Recorded Music Inside Monday - Sunday 10:00 - 00:30

Alcohol Sale Outside & Live & Recorded Music Outside Monday - Sunday 10:00 - 22:00

Outdoor alcohol sales & outdoor music will finish no later than 22:00

Any representations regarding the above-mentioned application must be made in writing to Licensing, Public Protection Services, Town Hall, Duke Street, Barrow In Furness, Cumbria LA14 2LD Or by email to: licensingteam@westmorlandandfurness.gov.uk no later than 17th September 2026 stating the grounds for the representation. The register and the record of this application may be inspected at the council office at the address given above between 10:00-16:00 Monday to Friday or on the council's website www.westmorlandandfurness.gov.uk

It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. A person is liable to an unlimited fine in conviction should such a false statement be made.
