What is proposed?

Notice of application for the grant of a Premises Licence under Section 17 of the Licensing Act 2003

Notice is hereby given that Travelodge Hotels Limited has applied to Epping Forest District Council for the grant of a Premises Licence in respect of premises to be known as Travelodge London Loughton, Langston Road, Loughton, IG10 3SD.

The proposed licensable activities and their hours are the sale of alcohol Monday to Sunday 00:00 to 00:00 (24 hours) and the provision of late night refreshment Monday to Sunday 23:00 to 05:00 the following morning. (The sale of alcohol between the hours of 23:00 and 10:00 will be restricted to residents only).

Any representations by an interested party or responsible authority regarding the above-mentioned application must be received in writing by the Licensing Team, Regulatory Services, Epping Forest District Council, Civic Offices, High Street, Epping, CM16 4BZ, or by email to Licensing@eppingforestdc.gov.uk, no later than 8 September 2026 stating the grounds for objection. The register of Epping Forest District Council and the record of the application may be inspected by contacting the Licensing Team (details given above) or on the council's website - www.eppingforestdc.gov.uk.

It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. The maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for the offence is unlimited.
