What is proposed?

PUBLIC NOTICE

VARIATION OF PREMISES LICENCE

Notice is hereby given that Twickenham Pizza Enterprises Ltd has applied to Richmond Council for variation of a premises licence at The Crane and Tap, 1 Brewery Lane, Twickenham TW1 1AA to

  1. To vary the layout of the premises as per the plans lodged with the council

  2. Add in a condition that Food be provided throughout the trading period

  3. Remove condition 12 and replace it with the following wording

“When there is an event at the RFU, a clicker system must be used to record the number of customers in the premises at any one time. The numbers must be recorded in a log at least every 30 minutes. This log is to be kept at the premises and be made available for immediate inspection upon the request of the police and/or licensing authority officer.”

Any person who wishes to make a representation in relation to this application must give notice in writing by 14th September 2026 stating the grounds for making said representation to: Richmond Licensing Authority, Regulatory Services Partnership (Serving Merton, Richmond and Wandsworth Councils) Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey, SM4 5DX or by email: licensing@merton.gov.uk 

The record of this application may be inspected Monday to Friday (except Bank Holidays) by prior appointment at the offices of Richmond Licensing Authority, Regulatory Services Partnership (Serving Merton, Richmond and Wandsworth Councils) Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey, SM4 5DX between the hours of 10.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. Information on all new and variation applications received by the Licensing Authority can be viewed on the Council’s website www.richmond.gov.uk

It is an offence, under section 158 of the Licensing Act 2003, to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in or in connection with an application, punishable upon conviction by an unlimited fine.
