Notice is given that Blacks Corner Culture House Ltd has applied to Sunderland City Council for a Premises Licence in respect of Blacks Corner, Keel Square, Sunderland, SR1 3DZ.
The proposed licensable activities are: Live Music - Every Day 10:00-00:00; Recorded Music - Every Day 09:00-00:00; Sale by Retail of Alcohol for consumption on and off the premises - Every Day 10:00-00:00.
The licensing register is kept at Sunderland City Council, Licensing Section, City Hall, Plater Way, Sunderland, SR1 3AA. A record of the application may be inspected by appointment. To make an appointment email

licensing@sunderland.gov.uk.

Representations regarding the application must be made in writing to the Council, or by email to

licensing@sunderland.gov.uk,

no later than 26 August 2026.
It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. The maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for the offence is unlimited.
