What is proposed?

NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A NEW PREMISES LICENCE

Notice is hereby given that application has been made by 680 Club Ltd, Trading as Oaks WMC, to Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council for A NEW PREMISES LICENCE in respect of 680 Club Ltd, Trading as Oaks WMC, 680 Doncaster Road, Ardsley, Barnsley, S71 5EF on the following terms:

Plays, Films, Indoor sporting events, Boxing or wrestling entertainments, Live music, Recorded music, Performances of dance.

All the above - indoors only

Supply of alcohol for consumption on and off the premises, 

All the above – Sunday-Thursday 10:00-24:00.

Friday-Saturday 10:00-01:00

Non-standard timings for all activities above– Bank Holidays, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day 10:00-01:45.

Late night refreshment, indoors only, Sunday-Thursday 23:00-24:00, Friday-Saturday 23:00-01:00. 

Non-standard timings for late night refreshments– Bank Holidays, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day 23:00-01:30.

Opening hours, Sunday-Thursday 10:00-00:30, Friday-Saturday 10:00-01:30.

Non-standard timings for opening hours – Bank Holiday, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day 10:00-02:15.

Any person wishing to make representations about the proposals outlined above can do so in writing to Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council, PO Box 634, Barnsley, S70 9GG or licensing@barnsley.gov.uk by midnight of 02.09.2026
