Notice of application to vary a Premises Licence under The Gambling Act 2005
Notice is hereby given that Double Diamond Gaming Ltd of the following address: 1-5 Portland Road, Edgbaston, Birmingham, B16 9HN is applying under Section 187 of the Gambling Act 2005 to vary a Converted Casino Premises Licence issued under that Act.
The application relates to the following premises: Rainbow Casino, 1 Portland Road, Birmingham, B16 9HN.
The application is to vary the licence as follows:
To vary the premises licence to covert the premises into an extended converted casino premises pursuant to paragraph A1 of Part 5 of Schedule 1 of the Gambling Act 2005 (Mandatory and Default Conditions) (England and Wales) Regulations 2007 (as amended by s4(3) of The Casinos (Gaming Machines and Mandatory Conditions) Regulations 2025).
To also vary the premises plan to comply with paragraph 2(b) and 4 of the Regulation 7 of the Gambling Act 2005 (Premises Licences and Provisional Statements) Regulations 2007 (as amended by the Gambling Act 2005 (Premises Licences and Provisional Statements) (Amendment) (England and Wales) Regulations 2025).
There are no physical changes to the premises other than the machine and table layouts.

Any of the following persons may make representations in writing to the Licensing Authority about the application:
A person who lives sufficiently close to the premises to be likely to be affected by the authorised activities.
A person who has business interests that might be affected by the authorised activities.
A person who represents someone in any of the above two categories.
Any representations must be made by the following date: 3 September 2026
It is an offence under Section 342 of the Gambling Act 2005 if a person, without reasonable excuse, gives to a Licensing Authority for a purpose connected with the Act, information which is false or misleading.
