Notice of Application for the grant of a Premises
Licence underSection 17 of the Licensing Act 2003

Notice is hereby given that Amber Taverns Limited has
applied to Portsmouth City Council for the grant of a
Premises Licence in respect of Premises to be known as The
Carlton (Formerly known as Cosham Social Club), 14 - 16
Wayte Street, Portsmouth, PO6 3BS. The application seeks
to replicate the hours, activities and conditions the premises
used to have under premises licence 16/03726/LAPREM.
The proposed licensable activities and their hours are:
1. The retail sale of alcohol for consumption on and off the
premises between 11:00 and 23:30 7 days per week. 2. The
performance of dance, live and recorded music, indoor
sport and similar entertainment between 12:00 and 23:59
7 days per week. 3. Opening hours to the public between
11:00 and 23:59 7 days per week. Any representations
regarding the above-mentioned application must be
received in writing by Licensing Service, Portsmouth City
Council, Civic Offices, Guildhall Square, Portsmouth,
Hants, PO1 2AL or

representation. The register of Portsmouth City Council and
the record of the application may be inspected at the address
of the council, given above, during normal business hours
