What is proposed?

Licensing Act 2003: Notice of application for
variation of a Premises Licence

Notice is hereby given that Ashley Stockton has applied
for a variation of a Premises Licence in respect of premises
known as The Society, 14-16 Swinegate, Leeds, LS1 4AG.
The variation proposed is as follows:-
1. Extend the terminal hour for the sale of alcohol and
recorded music on Friday & Saturday to 02:00 the
following day. 2. To include non-standard timings for
recorded music and sale of alcohol on Bank Holidays
Sundays, Good Friday, Christmas Eve, New Years Eve and
Boxing Day till 03.00 the following morning and closing
one hour later. 3. Extend the opening hours on Friday &
Saturday to allow the premise to close at 03:00 the
following day. 4. Add a new condition. A copy of the
application can be inspected at the offices of Entertainment
Licensing, Leeds City Council, Civic Hall, Leeds,
LS1 1UR during normal office hours. Phone: 0113 378

This application was lodged with Leeds City Council on
4 August 2026 and any representations must be made in
writing to Leeds City Council at the above address no later
than 1 September 2026. It is an offence under Section 158
of the Licensing Act 2003 to make a false statement in or
in connection with this application. Those who make a
false statement may be liable on summary conviction to a
fine of any amount.
