What is proposed?

NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR VARIATION
OF A PREMISES LICENCE

Notice is hereby given that Star Pubs Trading Limited has
applied for a variation of a Premises Licence in respect of
premises known as the Crown Hotel, 94 Albert Road,
Colne, Lancashire BB8 0QD The variation proposed is as
follows:- To amend the terminal hour to 01.00 Monday to
Sunday for recorded music and sale of alcohol, to permit
live music Monday to Sunday from 11.00 to 01.00, to
permit late night refreshment on Sundays between 23.00
and 01.00 and amend the terminal hour Monday to Saturday
to 01.00 and to amend the closing time of the premises to
01.30 daily and opening time to 08.00. A copy of the
Application can be inspected at the offices of Pendle
Borough Council Licensing Authority, Pendle Borough
Council Town Hall, Market Street, Nelson BB9 7LG

during normal office hours. This
application was lodged with Pendle Borough Council
Licensing Authority on 30 July 2026 and any
representations must be made in writing to Pendle Borough
Council Licensing Authority at the above address no later
than 27 August 2026.
It is an offence under Section 158 of the Licensing Act 2003
to make a false statement in or in connection with this
application. Those who make a false statement may be
liable on summary conviction to a fine of any amount.
