TAKE NOTICE that I/we Arsalan Sarkari have applied to Calderdale Metropolitan Borough Council under the Licensing Act 2003, for the grant/variation* of a premises licence/club premises certificate* in respect of premises known as Silver Corner Shop, Ground Floor, 18 Silver Street, Halifax, West Yorkshire, HX1 1HS
For The variation of the Premises Licence to extend the hours for the sale by retail of alcohol and the opening hours of the premises 08:00am until 03:30am on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, and until 03:30 on all recognised Bank Holidays (including the eve of a Bank Holiday), Christmas Eve, Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year's Day.
Interested parties and responsible authorities may make representations regarding the application where they believe that the proposed activities would undermine any of the four licensing objectives.

Any representations must be submitted in writing to the Registration and Licensing Manager, Calderdale Metropolitan Borough Council, Town Hall, Crossley Street, Halifax, HX1 1UJ by Wednesday 19th August 2026
Persons wishing to inspect the Licensing Register may do so by appointment at the above address during normal office hours.
It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application and on summary conviction would be liable to a fine not exceeding £5000.
