What is proposed?
Notice of application to vary a Premises Licence under
Section 34 of the Licensing Act 2003
Notice is hereby given that Mitchells & Butlers Leisure
Retail Limited in respect of Premises known as Belle Vue,
Whitegate Drive, Blackpool, FY3 9DQ applied to
Blackpool Council for a Variation of a Premises Licence.
1. The proposed variation is to extend the start time for the
sale of alcohol (on and off the premises) and provision of
films (indoors) to 09:00 hours Mondays to Sundays
(currently 10:00 hours). There is no change to the terminal
hour, and this remains as existing. 2. To amend condition 1
under Annex 1 with regards to non-standard timings to
reflect the variation sought under (1) above as detailed in
application. 3. To amend condition 8 Under Annex 2 of the
licence as detailed in application. Please see application
submitted to council for full details. Any representations
regarding the above-mentioned application must be
received in writing by, Licensing Service, Blackpool
Council, Municipal Buildings, PO Box 4, Blackpool, FY1
1NA or via email to
licensing.la2003@blackpool.gov.uk

later than 25 August 2026 stating the grounds for
representation.
The register of Blackpool Council and the record of the
application may be inspected at the address of the council,
given above, by appointment on Mondays through
Thursdays between 9am and 4.30pm and on Fridays
between 9am and 4pm or if available on the council’s
website
It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false
statement in connection with an application. A person is
liable to an unlimited fine on conviction should such a false
statement be made.
