Brighton Place - Application For Premises Licence

Notice of Application for the Grant of a Premises Licence under Section 17 of the Licensing Act 2003

Notice is hereby given that UKCHF LIMITED has applied to Brighton & Hove City Council for the grant of a Premises Licence in respect of Premises to be known as Champagne & Fromage, 13 Brighton Place, Brighton, BN1 1HJ.

The proposed licensable activities and their hours are the provision of late night refreshment until midnight on Fridays, Saturdays and the day before a Bank Holiday, the sale alcohol for consumption on and off the premises from 10:00 to 23:00 Sunday to Thursday and from 10:00 to midnight Friday, Saturday and the day before a Bank Holiday with opening from 07:00 to 23:30 Sunday to Thursday and 07:00 to 00:30 the following morning Friday, Saturday and the day before a Bank Holiday. New Years Eve the above hours extended to 02:00 the following morning for late night refreshment and for the sale of alcohol and extended to 02:30 the following morning for opening. Any representations regarding the above-mentioned application must be received in writing sent by email to EHL.licensing@brighton-hove.gov.uk or to Regulatory Services Manager, Regulatory Services, Environmental Health and Licensing, Hove Town Hall, Norton Road, Hove, BN3 3BQ no later than 25th August 2026 with a brief written statement of the grounds of his/her objection. It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. A person is liable to an unlimited fine on conviction should such a false statement be made.
