NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO VARY A PREMISES LICENCE UNDER SECTION 34 OF
THE LICENSING ACT 2003
Notice is hereby given that Akatan Limited has applied to vary a premises licence in relation to Shivshakti News, 31 High Street, Romford, RM1 1JL to permit the following changes to the licence:
• To extend the hours during which alcohol supplies may be made to 08:00 to 23:00 from Monday to Saturday, and 10:00 to 21:00 on Sunday.
The register of the licensing authority is kept at the address below. Full details of the application can be inspected at this address during normal business hours. A representation by any person or a responsible authority regarding this application can be made to: The Licensing Authority, Town Hall, Main Road, Romford, RM1 3BD www.havering.gov.uk Such representation must be received in writing by 5th August 2026. It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with an application. The maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for the offence is unlimited.
