Notice is hereby given that Admiral Taverns Ltd has applied in respect of Travellers Rest, 88 New Mill Road, Brockholes, Holmfirth, HD9 7AZ for an application to vary the premises licence under the Licensing Act 2003 to permit the following: To amend the premises licence hours. The new hours shall read as follows: Opening Hours - Monday to Sunday 07:00 – 02:30 (currently 11:00 – 00:30 Mon – Sat & 12:00 – 23:30 Sun). Sale of Alcohol (on & off sales) - Monday – Saturday 11:00 – 02:00 (currently 00:00 finish), Sunday 12:00 – 02:00 (currently 23:00 finish). Regulated Entertainment (Dance; Live Music; Recorded Music; Films; Indoor Sporting Events) Monday – Saturday 11:00 – 02:00 (currently 00:00 finish), Sunday 12:00 – 02:00 (currently 23:00 finish). Late Night Refreshment - Monday – Sunday 23:00 – 02:00 (currently 00:00 finish Mon – Sat, no LNR on Sun) Non-Standard Timings to be added: On the morning on which British Summer Time begins, the terminal hour shall be extended by one hour. All conditions are to remain unchanged by this application.

Interested parties may make representations regarding the application where they believe that the proposed activities would undermine any of the four licensing objectives. Any representations must be submitted in writing to the Licensing Office, Flint Street Depot, Flint Street, Fartown, Huddersfield, HD1 6LG or by email licensing@kirklees.gov.uk by 25 August 2026

It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with this application. Persons will be liable on summary conviction to an unlimited fine.
