What is proposed?

LICENSING ACT 2003: APPLICATION TO VARY PREMISES LICENCE

Notice is hereby given that Punch Taverns Limited has applied to St Helens Council in respect of Vine Tavern 16 Elephant Lane Thatto Heath WA9 5QG for an application to vary the premises licence under the Licensing Act 2003 to permit the following: This is an application to extend the permission for the sale of alcohol as follows; Monday to Saturday from 09:00 until 00:00 and Sunday from 09:00 until 23:00. To also remove the current restriction on trading hours on Christmas Day, so that the hours reflect the day that 25th December falls on each year. For the above to permit 30 minutes drinking up time, following the last permitted sale of alcohol. To also amend and remove some conditions from Annex 2. A full list of these conditions can be viewed on the full application held by the Licensing Authority. All other hours, activities and conditions to remain unchanged. DATE BY WHICH REPRESENTATIONS MUST BE MADE – by the end of 21st August 2026. All representations must include the full name, address, and contact details of the interested party, or responsible authority making the representation. Representations submitted after the specified date cannot be considered. Representations can be submitted online on the St Helens Council website via https://publicaccess.sthelens.gov.uk/online-applications/search.do?action=simple&searchType=LicencingApplication

It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with this application. Persons will be liable on summary conviction to an unlimited fine.
