Notice of Application for the Transfer of a Licence

Western Administrative Court Division

TAKE NOTICE that I, Amanda Timoney of 91 Sligo Line, Point, Letterbreen, Enniskillen, Co. Fermanagh, BT74 9AE, intend to apply at the Magistrates Court sitting at Enniskillen on the 26th day of August 2026 at 10am for the transfer to me of a Licence at present held by John Clancy of 715 Loughshore Road, Corry, Belleek, County Fermanagh, BT93 3DE for the premises situate at 30 Main Street, Belleek aforesaid, being premises of the following kind according to the Licensing (Northern Ireland) Order 1996, namely premises specified in Article 5(1)(b), premises in which the business carried on under the licence is the business of selling intoxicating liquor by retail for consumption off the premises.

A Protection Order authorising the said Amanda Timoney to carry on business under the Licence was granted on the 1st day of April 2026 by the Magistrates Court sitting at Enniskillen for the period of six months from the date of the Order.

I am the owner of the business carried on under the Licence. The owners of the premises are the said John Clancy and Rose Clancy, both of 715 Loughshore Road, Corry, Belleek aforesaid.

The Licence will be deposited with the Clerk of Petty Sessions before or at the hearing of the Application.

FURTHER TAKE NOTICE that any person owning or residing or carrying on business in premises in the vicinity of the premises for which the transfer of the Licence is sought who intends to object must, in accordance with paragraph 4 of Schedule 5 of the said Order, serve Notice of Intention to Object upon the Applicant and the Chief Clerk not less than one week before the hearing of the Court application.

AND FURTHER TAKE NOTICE that the permissible grounds of objection are specified in Article 22(6) of the said Order, namely unfitness of the applicant, failure to comply with the correct procedure, or that the business carried on in the premises under the Licence has been discontinued.
