Notice of Application for the Grant of a
Premises Licence
TO ALL WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

Take notice that JD Wetherspoon plc has made an
application under Section 17 of the Licensing Act 2003 for
the grant of a Premises Licence for The Fletton Brick
(formerly Brewers Fayre), Fletcher Road, Kempston,
Bedford, MK42 7FY. The application is to provide the
following licensable activities: 1. Sale of Alcohol between
0800 – 0030 Sunday to Wednesday and 0800 – 0100
Thursday to Saturday. Alcohol sold for consumption on and
off the premises. 2. Late Night Refreshment between 2300
- 0030 Sunday to Wednesday and 2300 – 0100 Thursday to
Saturday. 3. Extensions to the above hours are sought for
certain non-standard days, details of which are contained
in the notice of application. Any person wishing to make
representations to this application should write to the
Licensing Authority, Bedford Borough Council, Borough
Hall, Cauldwell Street, Bedford MK42 9AP specifying the
grounds for making representations not later than Monday,
24th August 2026. Applications can be viewed during office
hours at the Council or via the Council’s website on

www.bedford.gov.uk/licensing


It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false
statement in connection with this application. The
maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary
conviction for this offence is unlimited.
