What is proposed?
NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A PREMISES LICENCE
Notice is hereby given that an application has been made by St James Street (Derby) Limited in respect of premises located at 2-6 The Strand, Derby, DE1 1BA to Derby City Council on 27 July 2026 for a premises licence.
The proposed application is:
1. To permit the supply of alcohol, live music and recorded music from 10:00 to 00:00 on Mondays to Sundays.
2. The provision of late night refreshment from 23:00 to 00:00 on Mondays to Sundays.
3. To provide licensable activities on specific occasions.
Full details of the application are contained within the application form held by the licensing authority at The Licensing Team, Derby City Council, The Council House, Corporation Street, Derby, DE1 2FS where the licensing register can be inspected during the authority’s normal opening hours or at www.derby.gov.uk/licensing/alcohol-licences/alcoholentertainment/
Any representations by a responsible authority or other person regarding the above-mentioned application must be made in writing to the licensing authority at the above address or to licensing@derby.gov.uk no later than 24 August 2026, stating the grounds upon which the representation is being made.
It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with an application. The maximum financial penalty on summary conviction is unlimited.
