NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF A DIRECTION UNDER ARTICLE 4(1)
NOTICE PURSUANT TO THE TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING (GENERAL PERMITTED DEVELOPMENT) (ENGLAND) ORDER 2015 UNDER ARTICLE 4 (1)

TO WHICH PARAGRAPH 2 (1) (a) OF SCHEDULE 3 APPLIES
(DIRECTION WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT)

Notice is given that Wyre Borough Council confirmed an Article 4 Direction under Article 4 (1) of the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) Order 2015 on 2 July 2026.

This Direction applies to those areas of Wyre Borough Council shown edged in red on the associated plan.

The Direction relates to development consisting of a change of use of a building from a use falling within Class C3 (dwellinghouses) of the Schedule to the Town and Country Planning (Use Classes) Order 1987 (as amended),
to a use falling within Class C4 (houses in multiple occupation) of that Order,
being development comprised within Class L(b) of Part 3 of Schedule 2 of the GPDO and not being development comprised within any other Class and
withdraws permitted development rights for this type of development. An application will therefore need to be made to the Council for the grant of planning permission under Part III of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 (as amended) before such development can be undertaken
