Notice is hereby given that J D Wetherspoon PLC has applied to Westminster City Council for the grant of a Premises Licence in respect of premises to be known as The Sorting Office, 1 Paddington Square, W2 1DL. The proposed licensable activities and their hours are to permit the sale of alcohol at the premises Sunday to Wednesday 0800 to 2330, Thursday to Saturday 0800 to 0030; the provision of late night refreshment Sunday to Wednesday 2300 to 2330,Thursday to Saturday 2300 to 0030. Opening hours Sunday to Wednesday 0630 to 0000, Thursday to Saturday 0630 to Midnight. Any representations regarding the above-mentioned application must be received in writing by email sent to licensing@westminster.gov.uk or sent by post to Licensing Team, Westminster City Council, 15th Floor West, 64 Victoria Street, London, SW1P 6QP no later than 14th August 2026 stating the grounds for representation. The register of Westminster City Council and the record of the application may be inspected at the address of the council above, during normal business hours or on the council’s website www.westminster.gov.uk.
It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. A person is liable to an unlimited fine on conviction should such a false statement be made.
