Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of Regulation 14 of the Explosives Regulations 2014, an application has been made by Simarco International LTD, to the Local Authority under the Regulations, that is Stoke-on-Trent City Council, on 21st July 2026 for their assent to the granting of a licence for the manufacture and storage of explosives at Unit 2, Radial Park, Sideway, Stoke on Trent ST4 4FA.
A draft copy of the licence (as approved by the Health and Safety Executive) is available to view at Unit 2, Radial Park, Sideway, Stoke on Trent ST4 4FA. This may be inspected by interested persons between the hours of 09:30 to 17:00 (Monday to Friday) by contacting 01782 838400 to make an appointment
Any persons intending to make representations in relation to the application and to the assent of the licence, on matters affecting the health and safety of persons other than the applicant’s employees, must within 28 days of this notice send them for the attention of Sarah Noonan, Principal Trading Standards Officer, Public Protection, Public Health, Protection and Wellbeing, City of Stoke-on-Trent, Floor 3, Civic Centre Glebe Street Stoke-on-Trent ST4 1HH.
