NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO VARY A PREMISES LICENCE UNDER SECTION 34
Notice is hereby given that on the 13th July 2026 Asda Stores Ltd applied to Manchester City Council for a variation of the Premises Licence in respect of premises Asda Express Unit 7 Botanic Avenue Manchester M15 6AE. The proposed variation is ;- 1. To extend the hours for alcohol sales such that this is permitted 24 hours a day. 2. To impose a condition requiring that the store is closed to the public between midnight and 06.00 with alcohol sales between those hours permitted only for the purposes of fulfilling delivery orders made online. 3. To add further conditions relating to delivery. Any representations by a responsible authority or any other person regarding this application must be received in writing by:- Licensing Authority, Manchester City Council, Level 1 Town Hall Extension, Albert Square, Manchester, PO Box 532, M60 2LA; email premises.licensing@manchester.gov.uk no later than 10th August 2026 stating the grounds for representations. The register of Manchester City Council the record of the application may be inspected at the above office by appointment only. For further details email premises.licensing@ manchester.gov.uk It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. The fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for the offence is unlimited.
