NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A PREMISES LICENCE

Notice is given that McDonald’s Restaurants Limited has applied to Isle of Wight Council on 9th July 2026 for the grant of a premises licence to use the premises at McDonald’s Restaurants, St Georges Way, Newport, Isle of Wight, PO30 2QH for the provision of late night refreshment for the sale of hot food and drink from 23:00 until 05:00 Mondays to Sundays for consumption on and off the premises. Members of the public may inspect copies of the application, plan and other documents submitted between 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am to 4.30pm Fridays. Anyone wishing to view the application documentation at the Council offices will need to call 01983 823159 to book an appointment :- Isle of Wight Council, Licensing Section, County Hall, High Street, Newport, Isle of Wight, PO30 1UD - licensing@iow.gov.uk www.iow.gov.uk/licensing

Any person wishing to make representations regarding this application should do so in writing, sending all correspondence to the above address by 6th AUGUST 2026. Failure to meet this deadline may jeopardise the chance of your comments being taken into account.

It is an offence under Section 158 of the Licensing Act to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with an application. A person is liable to an unlimited fine on conviction should such a false statement be made.
