LICENSING ACT 2003, NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO VARY A PREMISES LICENCE

Notice is given that the Badcock Recreation Ground has on 16 July 2026 applied to South Cambridgeshire District Council as the Licensing Authority for a Variation of a Premises Licence for Haslingfield Village Hall of High Street, Haslingfield, CB23 1JP.

For the sale by retail of alcohol for consumption both ON and OFF the premises Monday to Sunday from 09:00 to 23:00 and the removal of the mandatory Designated Premises Supervisor (DPS) requirement, such that responsibility for alcohol sales is held collectively by the Badcock Recreation Ground as a community premises.

Anyone wishing to make representations concerning this application should do so in writing to South Cambridgeshire District Council, Licensing Service, South Cambridgeshire Hall, Cambourne Business Park, Cambourne, CB23 6EA or licensing@scambs.gov.uk.

Representations in respect of this application must reach the Licensing Authority by 12 August 2026.

Persons wishing to inspect the record of this application may do so by visiting the South Cambs website at www.scambs.gov.uk, or contacting the Licensing Team via email to licensing@scambs.gov.uk.

It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application, the maximum fine for which on summary conviction is £5,000
