What is proposed?

Notice of application to vary a Premises Licence under Section 34 of the Licensing Act 2003

Notice is hereby given that Mitchells & Butlers Leisure Retail Limited in respect of Premises known as The Avenue, 100 Chanterlands Avenue, Kingston upon Hull, HU5 3TS has applied to Kingston upon Hull City Council for a Variation of a Premises Licence. The proposed variation is to: -

1. Extend the hours for films, indoor sports and the sale of alcohol (on & off sales) to start at 08:00 hours every day of the week (currently 10:00 hours).

2. Remove the condition on the premises licence relating to the use of text/pagers.

3. Extend the terminal hour for films, indoor sports, sale of alcohol (on & off sales) and provision of late-night refreshment (indoors & outdoors) until 01:00 hours the following morning on Fridays & Saturdays (currently 00:00 hours).

4. Extend the opening hours to 01:30 hours on Fridays & Saturdays (currently 00:30 hours).

Any representations regarding the above-mentioned application must be received in writing by, Licensing Section, Hull City Council, 3 Witham, Hull, HU9 1DB or by email to liquor@hullcc.gov.uk no later than 5 August 2026 stating the grounds for representation. The register of and the record of the application may be inspected at the address of the council, given above, during normal business hours or on the council’s website www.hull.gov.uk
