What is proposed?

LICENSING ACT 2003

Application has been made by Kestrel Retail Limited to the Licensing Authority of Guildford Borough Council for a Premises Licence for Budgens, Anchor House Station Row Shalford Guildford Surrey GU4 8BY. The application includes the following terms:-

To permit the sale of alcohol for consumption off the premises Monday to Sunday 0700 to 2100 hours each day.

A copy of the application may be inspected at the Licensing Reception Guildford Borough Council Offices Millmead House Millmead Guildford GU2 4BB during office hours or on the website at www.guildford.gov.uk/la03applications.

Representations in writing to the Licensing Unit at the Council Offices or by e-mail to regulatoryservices@guildford.gov.uk by 5th August 2026.

The Council will not entertain representations where the writer requests that his identity remains anonymous.

Copies of all representations will be included in the papers presented to the Licensing Committee and will therefore pass into the public domain. Representations must relate to one or more of the four Licensing Objectives: the prevention of crime and disorder, public safety, the prevention of public nuisance and the protection of children from harm.

It is an offence for anyone knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with a Licence Application.

The maximum fine on summary conviction is unlimited.
