Notice is hereby given that Greene King Brewing and Retailing Limited has applied in respect of The Miners Rest (prev Commerical Inn), 403 Gower Road, Swansea, SA2 7AN for an application to vary the premises licence under the Licensing Act 2003 to permit the following: To change the premises name to The Miners Rest. To change the layout and design of the premises in accordance with the submitted plan, drawing number 106. The changes include the relocation of the main internal doors opposite the external doors to allow for direct access via new accessible ramp, new snug area, reconfiguration of fixed seating, and new pergola to external area. To permit the premises to provide live and recorded music, and anything of a similar description until 0000 hours Friday and Saturday (currently permitted until 2300). Non-standard timings to remain as ‘An additional hour on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Mondays on Bank Holiday weekends.’ To remove conditions related to staff training, supervision on the premises, proof of age and replace with updated conditions relating to staff training, incident recording, monitoring the premises, noise checks for entertainment, and challenge 25 policy. Any representations must be made in writing to City and County of Swansea Licensing Division at the above address, clearly stating the grounds upon which the representation is made, relevant to the licensing objectives, to the above by 5 August 2026.
