TAKE NOTICE that AGNIESKA KOCH of 10 THE ARCHES, BESSBROOK, NEWRY, COUNTY DOWN intends to apply at the Magistrates Court sitting at Newry on WEDNESDAY 29th JULY 2026 at 10.30am to apply for the transfer to her of a licence at present held by PAUL SMITH OF 23 CASTLEWELLAN ROAD, HILLTOWN, for the premises known as THE BOLEY INN situate at 19 MAIN STREET, HILLTOWN, COUNTY DOWN being premises of the following kind according to the Licensing (Northern Ireland) Order 1996, namely premises specified in Articles 5(1)a of the Licensing (Northern Ireland) Order 1996.
The Owner of the business carried on under the Licence is PAUL SMITH
The Owners of the premises in which the business is carried on is PAUL SMITH AND VALERIE SMITH
The Licence will be deposited with the Clerk of the Petty Sessions before or at the hearing of the application.

TAKE NOTICE that any person owning, or residing or carrying on business in, premises in the vicinity of the premises for which the Licence is sought who intends to object to the transfer of the Licence, must in accordance with paragraph 4 of Schedule 5 to the Licensing (NI) Order 1996, serve Notice of his intention to objection upon the applicant and the Clerk of the Petty Sessions not less than one week before the date of the court hearing.
AND FURTHER TAKE NOTICE that the permissible grounds of objection are such as are specified in Article 22(6) of the Licensing (NI) Order 1996 namely the unfitness of the applicant, and that the business carried on in the premises under the Licence has not been discontinued.
