Notice Of Application For A Premises Licence

Premises St Edmund’s College & Prep School, Farm Lane, Ware, SG11 1DS

Notice is given that St Edmund’s College has applied to East Hertfordshire District Council for a Premises Licence under the Licensing Act 2003. 

The proposed licensable activities are: 

1 The sale of alcohol for consumption on and off the premises for pre-arranged functions only from 12 noon until 23.00 Monday to Saturday and from 12 noon until 22.30 on Sunday; and 

2 The performance of plays, the provision of films, live music, recorded music and dance from 12 noon until 23.00 Monday to Saturday and from 12 noon until 22.30 on Sunday. 

Anyone who wishes to make representations regarding this application must write to East Herts District Council Offices, Wallfields, Pegs Lane, Hertford, SG13 8EQ or Community.protection@eastherts.gov.uk 

Representations must be received by 29 July 2026. 

The register of Licensing Applications can be inspected by appointment East Herts District Council Offices, Wallfields, Pegs Lane, Hertford, SG13 8EQ between 09:00 and 17:00 on weekdays or at www.eastherts.gov.uk/licences-registration/alcohol-entertainment-and-late-night-refreshment/notices-application-and-objecting-licence-applications 

It is an offence on summary conviction to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with this application, the maximum fine for which is unlimited.
