Licensing Act 2003: Application for Variation of a Premises Licence

Notice is hereby given that Joseph Holt Limited has applied to West Lancashire Borough Council for the variation of the Premises Licence for The Hayfield, 122 County Road, Ormskirk, Lancashire L39 1NN. 

The proposed application is to extend the hours for the sale of alcohol from 09:00 until 24:00 on Sundays to Thursdays and from 09:00 until 01:00 on Fridays and Saturdays; to replace the current Conditions with those attached to the application. 

The application may be inspected at West Lancashire Borough Council, Licensing Section, Robert Hodge Centre, Stanley Way, Skelmersdale, WN8 8EE, between the hours of 9.00am and 4.30pm on Monday to Friday inclusive.

Any ‘interested Party’ may make representations in writing to the Council regarding the application before the 28th July 2026. 

The Licensing Authority must receive representations by the date given above. The Licensing Authority will have regard to any such representation in considering the application. 

It is an offence, under section 158 of the Licensing Act 2003 to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in or in connection with an application for Premises Licence and there is an unlimited fine on being convicted of such offence.
