NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A PREMISES
LICENCE
Application has been made by Aldi Stores Limited to the
Licensing Authority of Wigan Council for a Premises
Licence for the Aldi Store at 393 Orrell Road, Orrell, WN5
8QZ. The proposed licensable activity is the sale by retail
of alcohol for consumption off the premises each day of the
week between 06:00 and 00:00. The application may be
inspected at the Licensing Section, Wigan Life Centre,
College Avenue, Wigan, WN1 1NJ between the hours of
9.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m. Monday to Friday inclusive. Brief
details can also be obtained from the Council's website
Written representations can be made to
the Licensing Authority at Licensing Section, Wigan
Council, PO Box 100, Wigan, WN1 3DS or by email to
any time up to and including 28th
July 2026.
It is an offence for anyone knowingly or recklessly to make
a false statement in connection with a Licence Application.
The maximum fine on summary conviction is Level 5.
