What is proposed?

LICENSING ACT 2003 - APPLICATION FOR A VARIATION OF A PREMISES LICENCE - TIPSY OWL, THE BASEMENT, 5 HIGH STREET, PONTYPRIDD, CF37 1QJ

Notice is hereby given that Tipsy Owl Cyf has applied to Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council for the variation of a Premises Licence in respect of Tipsy Owl, The Basement, 5 High Street, Pontypridd, CF37 1QJ.

The application seeks to:

* Extend and amend the licensed area to include additional internal areas, including the event room and customer facilities, together with external seating areas as shown on the submitted premises plan;

* Amend the authorised hours for the supply of alcohol and opening of the premises to permit operation from 10:00 daily;

* Permit the premises to remain open and supply alcohol until 03:00 on New Year’s Eve and on the eve of Bank Holidays;

* Amend the existing condition preventing entry or re-entry after 01:00 on Fridays a
Any person wishing to make representations regarding this application may do so in writing to the Licensing Section, Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council, Ty Elai, Dinas Isaf East, Williamstown, CF40 1NY.

Representations must be received by 27 July 2026.

It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with this application and a person is liable to an unlimited fine on summary conviction should such a false statement be made.
