LICENSING (NORTHERN IRELAND) ORDER 1996

(Article 22, SCHEDULE 5, PARAGRAPHS 1 AND 2)

Notice of Application for the transfer of a Licence. Western Administrative Court Division

TAKE NOTICE that I Seamus Mohan of 16 Drumshancorrick Road, Roslea, Co Fermanagh, BT92 7HF intend to apply at the Magistrates Court sitting at Enniskillen on the 22nd day of July 2026 at 10am for the transfer to me of a Licence at present held by Francis Mohan late of 9 Main Street, Roslea, Co Fermanagh for the premises situate at 11 Main Street, Roslea aforesaid being premises of the following kind according to the Licensing (Northern Ireland) Order 1996, namely premises specified in Article 5(1)(a) premises in which the business carried on under the licence is the business of selling intoxicating liquor by retail for consumption either in or off the premises.

Protection Orders authorising the said Seamus Mohan to carry on business under the Licence were granted on the 6th day of August 2025 and the 4th day of February 2026 by the Magistrates Court sitting at Enniskillen for the periods of six months from the dates of the Orders.

I am the owner of the business carried on under the Licence.

The owner of the premises is the said Seamus Mohan of 16 Drumshancorrick Road, Roslea aforesaid.

The Licence will be deposited with the Clerk of Petty Sessions before or at the hearing of the Application.

FURTHER TAKE NOTICE that any person owning or residing or carrying on business in premises in the vicinity of the premises for which the transfer of the Licence is sought who intends to object must in accordance with paragraph 4 of Schedule 5 of the said Order serve Notice of Intention to Object upon the Applicant and the Chief Clerk not less than one week before the hearing of the Court application.

AND FURTHER TAKE NOTICE that the permissible grounds of objection are specified in Article 22(6) of the said Order namely unfitness of the applicant, failure to comply with the correct procedure or that the business carried on in the premises under the Licence has been discontinued.
