Licensing Act 2003 Notice of application for a premises licence/club premises certificate

Premises Powerleague Gateshead, Ropery Road, Gateshead NE8 2HD Notice is given that Powerleague Fives Limited has applied to Gateshead Licensing Authority for a Premises Licence under the Licensing Act 2003. 

The licensable activities are: 

Supply of alcohol for consumption on or off the premises 10:00 to 23:00 Sunday to Thursday inclusive, 10:00 to 01:00 Friday and Saturday. 

Late Night Refreshment 23:00 to 01:00 Friday and Saturday. 

Live, recorded Music or performances of dance and anything of a similar description. 10:00 to 01:00 Friday and Saturday subject to the conditions offered with the premises open to the public generally between 07:00 Sunday to Thursday inclusive and 07:00 to 01:30 Friday and Saturday. 

Anyone who wishes to make representations regarding this application must give notice in writing to: Licensing Section, Gateshead Council, Civic Centre, Gateshead NE8 1HH. 

Representations must be received no later than 20th July 2026. 

The Application Record and Register may be viewed by emailing licensing@gateshead.gov.uk or telephoning 0191 433 4741. 

It is an offence under Section 158 of the Licensing Act 2003, knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application and the maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for the offence is up to level 5 on the standard scale (£5000).
