Notice of Application for Variation of a Premises Licence

We Glendo Leisure Ltd hereby give notice that an application was made to Newcastle City Council on the 25th June 2026 for the Grant of a variation to a Premises Licence to operate a premises at: Scotswood Showbar, 78-82 Scotswood Road, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE4 7JH from which the following licensable activities are proposed.

Retail of Alcohol for consumption on and off the premises from 11:00 to 04:00 Monday to Saturday, and 12:00 to 04:00 on Sundays. Regulated Entertainment by way of exhibition of films, recorded and live music, performance of dance, and anything of a similar description from 11:00 to 04:00 Monday to Saturday and 12:00 to 04:00 on Sundays. Late Night Refreshment from 23:00 to 04:00 Monday to Sunday.

The full application may be inspected, free of charge, at the offices of the council at Licensing Authority Newcastle City Council Public Safety and Regulation Civic Centre Newcastle upon Tyne NE1 8QH or at www.new.newcastle.gov.uk mailto:licensing@newcastle.gov.uk

Any interested party or Responsible Authority may make representations to the Licensing Section in writing within 28 Consecutive Days of the day of application was made as detailed above. The last day for representations being the 23/07/2026

It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with an application and a person may be liable on summary conviction to an unlimited fine.
