Notice is hereby given that Punch Taverns Limited has applied in respect of Queens Head Hotel, 2 Sherburn Road, DH1 2JR for an application to vary the premises licence under the Licensing Act 2003 to permit the following:
This is an application to extend hours on Sundays for sale of alcohol, recorded music & live music to 11:00 - 00:00 (currently 12:00-22:30).
Open hours on a Sunday to 08:00 - 00:30 (currently 08:00-23:00).
All other hours and conditions are to remain unchanged. Any person wishing to make representations to this application may do so by emailing licensing@durham.gov.uk or by writing to: Durham County Council, Licensing Services, PO Box 617, Durham, DH1 9HZ. Representations must be received no later than: 16 July 2026. A copy of the application can be inspected at the Licensing Authority at the above address during normal office hours or viewed online at: www.durham.gov.uk/article/2136/Licensing-Act-2003-applications
