NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A NEW PREMISES LICENCE
Notice is hereby given that application has been made by Mr Christopher Wakeford to Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council for A NEW PREMISES LICENCE in respect of George Street Theatre, George Street, Wombwell, Barnsley, S73 0DD on the following terms: Activities similar to live and recorded music, performances of dance.
The sale by retail of alcohol for consumption on the premises: Mon-Fri from 18:00 until 23:00hrs, Sat-Sun from 12:00 until 23:00hrs.
Premises may remain open to the public: Mon-Fri from 18:00hrs until 23:00hrs, Sat-Sun from12:00 until 23:00hrs.
Any person wishing to make representations about the proposals
outlined above can do so in writing to Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council, PO Box 634, Barnsley, S70 9GG or licensing@barnsley.gov.uk by midnight of 9th July 2026
