Notice is hereby given that Bourne Holidays Limited in respect of Premises known as Bodelwyddan Castle Hotel, Engine Hill, Bodelwyddan, Clwyd, LL18 5YA applied to Denbighshire County Council for a Variation of a Premises Licence. The proposed variation is to permit the sale of alcohol from pop-up bars in the external areas of the premises from 1000 to 2300 every day to residents, their guests and for pre-booked functions; and to permit the showing of films, performance of plays and dancing in an external area of the premises from 1000 to 2300 every day. Details of the areas can be seen on the plan attached to the application. There is no change to the opening hours of the premises or the hours for licensable activities inside the premises. Any representations regarding the above-mentioned application must be received in writing by Senior Licensing Officer, Planning Public Protection and Countryside Services, Denbighshire County Council, PO Box 62 Ruthin, LL15 9AZ or e-mail to licensing@denbighshire.gov.uk no later 14th July 2026 stating the grounds for representation. The register of Denbighshire County Council and the record of the application may be inspected at the address of the council, given above, during normal business hours or on the council’s website – www.denbighshire.gov.uk
It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. A person is liable to an unlimited fine on conviction should such a false statement be made.
