Notice is hereby given that Punch Taverns Limited has applied in respect of Crown Inn, 8 Richmond Road Brompton on Swale, Richmond, DL10 7HE for an application to vary the premises licence under the Licensing Act 2003 to permit the following:
This is an application to vary the layout and design of the premises in accordance with the submitted plan, which reflects permitting use of the whole external area for licensable activities.
To also amend the current permitted hours as follows:
- Opening hours to change to 0700-0100 the following morning, 7 days a week (currently permitted Sunday 0700-23:00, Monday-Wednesday 0700-23:30 and Thursday-Saturday 0700-00:30);
- Sale of alcohol hours to be changed to 0800-0030 the following morning, 7 days a week (currently permitted Sunday 1200-2230, Monday-Wednesday 1100-2300 and Thursday-Saturday 1100-0000);
- Regulated entertainment (live/recorded music) to be changed to 0700-0030 the following morning, 7 days a week (currently permitted Sunday 1200-2230, Monday to Wednesday 1100-2300 and Thursday to Saturday 1100-0000).
For all of the above, to permit an additional hour for Christmas Eve, Boxing Day and any bank holiday weekend (Friday to Monday inclusive).
To also amend and remove conditions to update the operating schedule.

Any representations regarding the above mentioned application must be received in writing by Licensing Department, Mercury House, Station Road, Richmond, DL10 4JX no later than the end of 13 July 2026 stating the grounds for the representation.
The register and the record of this application may be inspected at the address given above during normal business hours, or on the council’s website www.northyorks.gov.uk.
It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with this application. Persons will be liable on summary conviction to an unlimited fine.
