What is proposed?

APPLICATION FOR A PREMISES LICENCE

Notice is hereby given that PLK Chicken UK Ltd has applied to Bristol CC for a Premises Licence for Popeyes, Unit 2, New Broadmead, Union Street, Bristol BS1 2DL; to provide for late night refreshment on and off daily until 5am, whilst closing to the public at 1am.

A register of licensing applications can be inspected 9am to 5pm Mon-Fri or 10am to 5pm Wed at The Licensing Authority, Bristol CC, 100 Temple St, Bristol BS1 6AG or via the Council’s website www.bristol.gov.uk.

Any person wishing to submit representations to this application must give notice in writing to the licensing authority at PO Box 3300, Bristol BS1 9LN or licensing@ bristol.gov.uk, giving in detail the grounds of objection by 10 July 2026. 

Representations must relate to one of the four Licensing Objectives: the prevention of crime and disorder, public safety, the prevention of public nuisance and the protection of children from harm.

It is an offence liable on conviction to an unlimited fine to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with this application.
