Notice of Application for the Transfer of a Licence Petty Sessions District of Fermanagh County Court of Northern Ireland Western Administrative Court Division
TAKE NOTICE that Palmbush Spar Ltd whose registered office is situated at Ground Floor, 25 Darling Street, Enniskillen, County Fermanagh BT74 7DP intends at the Magistrates’ Court sitting at Enniskillen Courthouse on the 8th day of July 2026 at 10.00 a.m. to apply for the transfer to the company of a licence at present held by Michael Corry and Marian Corry both of 24 Glengesh Road, Tattinweer, Tempo, County Fermanagh and Aiden Corry and Colette Corry both of 4 Knocknamoe Road, Killyclogher, Omagh, County Tyrone for premises situate at and known as Palmbush Spar, 51 Pettigo Road, Kesh, County Fermanagh being premises of the following kind according to the Licensing (Northern Ireland) Order 1996, namely premises specified in Article:
5(1)(b) - premises in which the only business carried on under the licence is the business of selling intoxicating liquor by retail for consumption off the premises.
A Protection Order authorising the company to carry on the business under the licence was granted on the 12th day of January 2026 by the magistrates’ court sitting at Enniskillen Courthouse on 12th January 2026 for the period of 6 months from the date of the order.
The following body corporate owns the business carried on under the licence:
Palmbush Spar Ltd, a limited liability company, of which the following persons are the directors: Michael Corry and Marian Corry both of 24 Glengesh Road, Tattinweer, Tempo, County Fermanagh, and Aiden Corry and Colette Corry both of 4 Knocknamoe Road, Killyclogher, Omagh, County Tyrone
The owner of the premises is Palmbush Spar Ltd.
The licence will be deposited with the Clerk of Petty Sessions before or at the hearing of the application.
AND FURTHER TAKE NOTICE that any person owning or residing or carrying on business in premises in the vicinity of the premises for which the transfer of the licence is sought who intends to object to the transfer of the licence must, in accordance with paragraph 4 of Schedule 5 to the Licensing (Northern Ireland) Order 1996, serve Notice of his intention to object upon the Applicant and the Clerk of Petty Sessions, not less than one week before the time of the Court sitting specified herein.
AND the permissible grounds of objection are such as are specified in Article 22 (6) (a) to (c) of the Licensing (Northern Ireland) Order 1996, namely failure to comply with the correct procedure, unfitness of the applicant and discontinuance of the business.
