LICENSING ACT 2003 NOTICE OF APPLICATION

FOR A PREMISES LICENCE UNDER SECTION 17

Notice is hereby given that on 15/06/2026 Hoddlesden Conservative Club applied to Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council for a Premises Licence for The Venue @ Hoddlesden Club, BB3 3LL.

The proposed licensed activities are:

  1. The supply of alcohol, and live and recorded music, from 12:00 – 23:00 Mondays to Thursdays, 12:00 – 00:00 Fridays and Saturdays, 12:00 – 22:00 Sundays (with closing 30 minutes later) plus seasonal variations.

Any representations by a responsible authority or any other person regarding this application must be received in writing by Licensing Section, Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council, Davyfield Depot, White Dove Building, Roman Road Industrial Estate, Blackburn, BB1 2LX, or by email to licensingteam@blackburn.gov.uk no later than 13/07/2026 stating the grounds for representations.

The register of Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council and the record of the application may be inspected at Licensing Section, Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council, Davyfield Depot, White Dove Building, Roman Road Industrial Estate, Blackburn, BB1 2LX, by prior appointment made on 01254 267666 between 10am and 4pm Monday to Friday or at the Council’s website www.blackburn.gov.uk

It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. The fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction is unlimited.
