What is proposed?

LICENSING ACT 2003

Application has been made by Trust Inns Limited to the Licensing Authority of Durham County Council to vary the Premises Licence for the Royal George at The Village, Shotton, Peterlee, SR8 2ND. The application includes the following terms:

  1. To draw forward the commencement hour for sale of alcohol for consumption on and off the premises to 08:00 hours daily.
  2. To extend the terminal hour for all licensable activities to 00:00 hrs daily and to alter the closing time to 00:30 hrs daily.
  3. To alter the approved layout of the premises to include an external area shown on the plan deposited with the application.
  4. To amend the conditions of the Licence as detailed in the application.
  5. To permit late night refreshments between 23:00 – 00:00 hrs daily.

A record of this application may be inspected at the Council’s offices at Annand House, John Street North, Meadowfield, Durham. DH7 8RS by appointment, on weekdays between 9.30 am and 4.30 pm.
