What is proposed?
Notice of Application to Vary a Premises Licence Under Section 34 of the Licensing Act 2003
Notice is hereby given that Mitchells & Butlers Leisure Retail Limited in respect of Premises known as Chaddlewood Inn, 100 Glen Road, Plympton, Plymouth, PL7 2XS has applied to Plymouth City Council for a Variation of a Premises Licence.
The proposed variation is to: -
1. Extend the hours in the morning to start at 09:00 every day of the week (currently 10:00) for the sale of alcohol for consumption on and off premises, provision of indoor sports and the showing of films (indoors).
2. Remove the condition on the premises licence relating to the use of text/radio pagers.
Any representations regarding the above-mentioned application must be received in writing by, The Office of the Director of Public Health, Head of Public Protection Service, Plymouth City Council, Ballard House, West Hoe Road, Plymouth, PL1 3BJ or by email to licensing@plymouth.gov.uk , (for electronic representations please provide your postal address) no later than 10th July 2026 stating the grounds for representation.
The register of and the record of the application may be inspected at the address of the council, given above, during normal business hours or on the council’s website – www.plymouth.gov.uk
It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. A person is liable to an unlimited fine on conviction should such a false statement be made.
